A stealthy Seattle startup has raised seed funding from Silicon Valley venture capital firm Greylock and Bellevue, Wash.-based Trilogy. Mona Akmal, a 12-year Microsoft veteran who was most recently head of product at Seattle startup Amperity, is CEO and co-founder of Falkon AI. Greylock is an investor in Seattle-based unicorn Convoy and online learning platform CreativeLive; it also recently led a Series A round for Chronosphere, a cloud startup founded by former Uber and Microsoft engineers with an office in Seattle. Trilogy is an active Seattle-area investor, with recent investments in startups including Spiral; Fresh Chalk; Give InKind; Adaptilab; and others.
