Aquatic Therapy 12-30-2019
Summary
I have always been a big proponent of physical therapy and have encourage family, friends, and patients to sign up for it. And I also know that it can be very uncomfortable at the time but the long term payout is to have good mobility and strength in the affected joints. Last summer my 1 ½ year old puppy, Sassi Storm, had to have patellar tendon surgery. So after the surgery had partially healed, the vet recommended that I manually rotate the leg and, if possible, have her swim. I can’t deny Sassi the opportunity to strengthen her leg and prevent herself from falling when I would recommend it to a human patient, now can I?
