Employee of the Quarter Spotlight - Catherine Mohr
Summary
Sometimes they’re formal responses to RFPs or they’re born from conversations and meetings the BD team has with prospective or and/or current clients. It typically involves meetings with the BD team and various subject matter experts to strategize what we want to put in front of a potential client, following along with email chains and conversations as those plans shift and change and, as I’m sure you can imagine, a fair amount of just putting my head down and writing. Typically, I try and read or work on a puzzle – something that is quiet, I can do on my own and requires just enough brain power I can focus on it without having to struggle to think through anything too complicated. I think it would be impossible to give the energy and time it takes to put together proposals and pitches without knowing that we’re all working hard on this project, we all see the value in the work and I want to achieve that end goal as much as everyone else (I’m also pretty competitive and love to win, so that helps too). Named after longtime friend and colleague Ken Deggs whose character and work ethic exemplified excellence, the award provides donations to the Ken Deggs family while honoring his proud legacy.
