Over the past few years, the company has eliminated prospecting with the catalog completely, but still mails the existing customer file monthly. I rarely look through the catalog when I receive my seed copy at home because I’ve always found the creative so bizarre. I had the impression that they finally had “nailed” the creative to appeal to a modern, athletic, and upscale American woman, without being edgy and esoteric. She told me I could share this story, but because I promised her I would protect her anonymity, and that of the company, I’m editing her response (see below). Team, tactics and technology are the things that this new person has invested in – all related to digital marketing and website optimisation.
