The Gold Coast City Council has revealed that Surfers Paradise is receiving a radical refresh. The makeover has been long awaited as the Commonwealth Games soaked up most of the funds on the Gold Coast. Cavill Mall is on the list to be revamped as well as the famous Surfers Paradise sign which may be moved to a more practical location. Residents have until November 26 to make online submissions and view the proposed master plan. Alternatively, submissions can be made in person on November 12 between 9am an 3pm at the big red heart in the centre of Cavill Mall.
