In September, 2000 the Company announced the release of the EntréPad AES4000 sensor, a low-profile, and low-power product aimed directly at the PC and Personal Electronic Device (PEDs) markets. In November, 2001 the Company announced the release of the revolutionary EntréPad AES3500 sensor, the smallest low-profile, low-power product aimed directly at the mobile computing and wireless markets. With its high performance TruePrint Technology based sensing array adapted for sliding finger presentation, ultra-small form factor, the AES2500 is AuthenTecs lowest priced sensor while delivering the best fingerprint imaging available for todays mobile wireless devices.
