Immersive Technologies extends its long-standing relationship with Caterpillar® for Simulation Immersive Technologies and Caterpillar Inc. have signed the renewal of a global Technical Information and Licensing Agreement for the development of advanced equipment training simulators. The scope of this agreement sees Caterpillar continue to exclusively provide Immersive Technologies with confi dential machine technical information and data that is necessary to simulate Caterpillar machinery. This proprietary information is not available or accessible to any other advanced simulator vendor. This arrangement reflects our ongoing desire to develop a strong business relationship with Caterpillar that will benefit our joint customers.”, said Peter Salfinger. As part of this agreement Caterpillar Global Mining will continue to exclusively recommend Immersive Technologies’ advanced training simulators to Caterpillar dealers and mining customers worldwide.
