Rohde & Schwarz was able to secure further strategically important major orders in the naval communications segment, largely thanks to the companys positioning as an overall system integrator. The latest generation of Rohde & Schwarz software defined radios enables customers to develop their own communications and encryption methods. SOVERON technology is being deployed in the "infantryman of the future" project, which will be one of Germanys contributions to the NATO’s Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF).
