Ncubate backed start-ups to raise $45 million this year
Summary
Three of the 14 start-ups backed by Ncubate Capital Partners will collectively raise around $45 million over the next three to four quarters. Of the three ventures, the first one is dDriven, an industrial internet of things (IoT) and data analytics start-up launched in January 2016 based out of Singapore. On whether Ncubate will participate in this round of fundraise, Malhotra said, it will depend on the requirement by incoming investors. As a result, we enter very early and work with only those entrepreneurs who feel we can be a good partner,” said Malhotra. The company essentially operates with a co-founder mindset offering patient capital and strong entrepreneurial input for co-creation, he added.
