White Cane Safety Day 2019
Summary
Workforce Solutions continues to celebrate the strides that people with disabilities have made to overcome various challenges they face in employment and independent living. During this month we also participate in White Cane Safety Day events which will take place this year at City Hall in downtown Houston. Workforce Solutions also has staff Navigators in place to ensure these devices are working properly, and that our offices are accessible to all people regardless of ability. One of the key tools we have at Workforce Solutions to assist those who are visually impaired or blind is braille (tactile writing system) materials and signage. We encourage our customer with vision impairments to visit one of our Workforce Solutions Career Offices and speak with our friendly staff on how we can assist you in finding that next job opportunity.
