Spy mode: WhatsApp tests how to read messages without the blue ticks
Summary
WhatsApp is testing a new Android feature that lets users preview conversations without sending read receipts. The feature appears as a floating card when a user long-presses a chat in the list. It also adds quick actions such as pinning, archiving, muting, marking unread, and deleting chat history. The feature is still limited to the beta version and does not yet have a public release date.
