Court Cases 8-30-2019
Summary
To make this hit home more, when I was on maternity leave from the hospital, I was subpoenaed to testify in a court case. The laboratory had policies and procedures for identifying patients, drawing alcohol levels, and analyzing the blood. After sitting through a morning of court cases, I was very glad that I wasn’t the one having to stand in front of that judge. The first question that the lawyer asked was if I identified the patient and how did I do the identification. I hope you never get called to testify but by following policies and procedures, you can confidently say that everything you did was done correctly.
