Decommissioning activities require expertise in various radiological measurement techniques: for the characterization of the installations, for the characterization of waste and for the clearance of materials and waste. Experts from the Joint Research Centre as well as external experts will explain the current practices and the developments in this field. In this framework, Yvon Desnoyers will specifically talk about the radiological characterization of the environment.
