LineageOS 24 Based on Android 17 Released - ShiftDelete.Net
Summary
LineageOS has released LineageOS 24, based on Android 17, for supported devices. The update brings a Material Design 3 Expressive redesign, a new Canvas editing app, and improved updater behavior for faster installation on A/B devices. It also adds browser-based flashing tools that use WebUSB so users can install the ROM without separate desktop software. The project has also limited support for older devices with Linux 4.4 and 4.9 kernels and shifted them to earlier versions that still receive security updates.
