Welcome to Sara – Our Summer Intern
Summary
We distracted Sara from her work for a few moments to find out more about her and what advice she’d give to other young people hoping to follow a career in tech. While looking for work experience a few months ago, I reached out to InnovateHer to see if they knew of any companies that offered summer internships. Throughout the sessions I was able to meet up with people my age who shared my interest in tech and with the help of Chelsea, Jo & WordPress, created my first blog. I am currently working on putting a front end onto the company’s developer documentation with another member of the team, Claire. I’m still exploring the many different areas in computer science, but I hope to contribute something to whichever field I decide to pursue.
