Blip starts charging for Viratexto on WhatsApp
Summary
Blip has started charging for its Viratexto audio-to-text service on WhatsApp. The company now offers a prepaid package of 50 transcriptions of up to four minutes each for R$5, with payment by Pix or card through a payment link. Blip says the change responds to pricing policy changes made by Meta on WhatsApp Business and is intended to keep the B2C service sustainable. The company also says Viratexto is not being turned into a new revenue stream and has already accumulated large usage volumes over four years.
