In this entry of the LAYTON series, the famous Professor Hershel Layton has gone missing, and it is up to his daughter Katrielle – a smart and spirited young lady with a knack for arriving at the truth in spite of paltry evidence – to take center stage as the protagonist. She is aided in her endeavors by a colorful cast of characters, including a young student named Ernest Greeves who acts as her assistant, and Sherl, a talking dog who begins as Katrielle’s first client, but quickly becomes her sidekick. The game also features an improved screen layout, enhanced graphics, more than 50 new outfits and all previously released DLC. And because it’s on Nintendo Switch, LAYTON’S MYSTERY JOURNEY: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition marks the first time the LAYTON series can be played at home on a TV.
