Brightlight Photonics is commercializing an integrated Ti:sapphire laser platform that shrinks bulky laboratory lasers onto a microscopic photonic chip. The company built the technology to solve a major hardware bottleneck for quantum computing, sensing, and secure communications. It will ship evaluation units to early partners in 2026 so developers can test the lasers in real-world systems.
