The first startup accelerator dedicated to smart cities is created in Turin

Turin has launched the Torino Cities of the Future Accelerator as the first Italian startup accelerator focused on smart cities. Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Compagnia di San Paolo, and Fondazione CRT created the program with Techstars. The first cohort includes 12 European startups working on transport, housing, energy, infrastructure, education, and healthcare solutions for cities. The initiative builds on the existing Techstars Smart Mobility partnership and aims to strengthen Turin as an innovation hub in Italy and Europe.
