Lifecare ASA agreed to acquire 80% of Ocean TuniCell AS to secure manufacturing and laboratory infrastructure in Bergen. The deal gives Lifecare access to a GMP Grade C cleanroom, quality processes, and staff needed for its continued CGM development and R&D work. Lifecare said building equivalent infrastructure on its own would cost more than NOK 30 million and take much longer. The transaction also includes a contingent payment tied to a future clinical milestone for Ocean TuniCell's technology platform. Closing still depends on final approvals and other conditions, and Lifecare expects to issue shares as part of the consideration.
