Smart Modular Expands Embedded Computer Line
Summary
SMART Modular Technologies, Inc. has announced the addition of the SMARTengine/iPC-Baby AT to the growing family of SMARTengine embedded computer boards. The SMARTengine/iPC-Baby AT is fully equipped with PC functionality through the implementation of the industry-standard Baby AT form factor utilized in most PCs. Additional functionality is achieved through the support of standard Socket 7 processors such as Pentium MMX and AMD K6 with the Intel 430TX chipset. Two 168-pin DIMM sockets offer support for up to 256MB SDRAM/EDO with the memory bus operation at 66MHz. The SMARTengine/iPC-Baby AT is the newest addition to SMARTs family of standard embedded board computers which are designed for high-performance communications, medical, industrial and other embedded computing applications.
