He taught me how to draw infants and small children and, with his ordering patterns, I got a lot of practice. Living in a small town, physicians would frequently go elsewhere to relax because there was less chance of them running into any of their patients. They had typical bar food and drinks, but more important, we could spend the evening undisturbed by other clientele. When I sit here and listen to that song, I have many good memories of those evenings and the great friends that I made while working at this hospital. Experiences both good and bad should be used as learning tools and made part of your background.
