Brandcast, a San Francisco, CA-based platform for marketers and designers to create and publish a large volume of websites with speed and control, closed a $13.9m in Series A financing.The round was led by Shasta Ventures with participation from existing investor Marc Benioff and new investor Correlation Ventures.To company, which has raised a total of $19.4m, intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in the enterprise sector.Founded in 2012 by Dan Lynch, CTO, and Hayes Metzger and led by Richard Yanowitch, CEO, Brandcast enables non-technical users to prototype customized websites in minutes/hours and publish them quickly and mobile-ready.The platform has been used by innovative brands like Lowe’s, Colliers, and New York Fashion Week to share stories and deploy their exact designs with no developers.
