Honoring our Service Men and Women

General News

Summary

It was formerly known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women who have died in military service for the United States. It is traditionally known for its celebration of those we have lost, but during recent years it has also been a time for us to recognize the commitment and sacrifice made by those who have courageously served our country. For example, a lieutenant with years of military training has skills that can easily be transferred to supervisory and management experience. As the graphic to the right of this paragraph illustrates four members of the military saluting the United States flag, let us honor our veterans in thanks for the service that they have provided to our country to ensure that we are able to live and work in a safe and secure environment. With his personal experience and passion for the disabled community, Cornelius’ insights are an invaluable asset to the Workforce Solutions organization.
