LOGICnow, a global provider of integrated cloud-based IT Service Management solutions, acquired iScan Online, Inc., a Plano, TX-based provider of a data breach risk intelligence platform.Led by Walter Scott, CEO, LOGICnow provides cloud-based IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions to Managed Service Providers and end user businesses.Its MAX platform includes Remote Management, Back-up & Disaster Recovery, Mail and Service Desk.The integration of iScan’s platform into the LOGICnow MAX Remote Management product suite will enable LOGICnow to deliver new security capabilities that will allow its global community of IT professionals to access to automated vulnerability scanning to prioritize threat mitigation strategies based directly on business costs.Following the deal, Carl Banzhof, former iScan CEO, has become Vice President of Engineering at LOGICnow, while Billy Austin, former iScan President, has been appointed as Vice President of Security, LOGICnow.
