Nokia has launched its first commercial AI-RAN platform for telecom operators. The platform combines Nokia’s anyRAN software architecture with NVIDIA accelerated computing to improve radio network efficiency, capacity, and profitability. Nokia says the system supports 4G, 5G, Open RAN, and future network evolution through multiple hardware deployment paths, including upgrades for existing AirScale sites and cloud RAN. The company expects pilot deployments later this year and commercial availability in 2027.
