CEWE buys Kodak Moments: Oldenburg photo giant acquires global instant photo business

CEWE is acquiring Kodak Moments Retail Photo Solutions from Kodak Alaris. The deal expands CEWE’s photo-finishing business internationally and gives it direct access to customers in thousands of retail locations worldwide. The acquired unit includes about 37,000 connected photo stations in 16,000 stores across 54 countries and brings roughly 500 employees and about 200 million euros in annual revenue. CEWE also gains a Colorado production site, which should improve supply-chain control and operational independence. The company expects the transaction to close in the first half of 2027 and to contribute positively from the first full fiscal year.
