iKentoo Raises €4.6m in Funding

iKentoo, a Geneva, Switzerland-based Hospitality IT platform provider, raised €4.6m in equity funding.The company intends to use the funds to open a fully staffed technical, sales and support office in Zurich, and further develop its presence in France, Germany and Spain.Founded in Geneva in 2011 by Serge Sozonoff, iKentoo develops and provides iPad®-based POS and business management systems for the hospitality industry.The company has over 2,500 customers in 14 countries including Mövenpick, Hard Rock Cafe, Luigia, Pouly groups, the Holy Cow Group, Swiss Medical Networks as well as thousands of restaurants, multi-site chains, food trucks, festivals, bars, hotels, coffee shops and delis.The Zurich office will formally open in September 2017 to service all key hospitality categories from independent establishments to multi-site operations.
