eHealth startup PainDrainer secures funding from angels
Summary
PrainDrainer has developed cloud-based applications for self-management of chronic pain, using multilevel Artificial Intelligent Systems. Although only one year has passed since they founded the company, they are already at the stage to start clinical studies. PainDrainer was founded in 2018 led by Professor Carl Borrebaeck, together with IT entrepreneur Göran Barkfors and researcher Maria Klement. Göran is an experienced entrepreneur who has previously founded Nasdaq-listed Immunovia, Alligator Bioscience and Senzagen among others. The startup has also an advisory board consisting of clinical pain management expert Christer Carlsson and AI specialist Mattias Ohlsson.
