Grid, a Reykjavik, Iceland-based startup working on a software as a service solution transforming excel files into web applications, completed a $1M investment round. The money was provided by a range of angels and early stage investors, including Ari Helgason, Anthony Deighton, Kristín Pétursdóttir, Investa, Futuristic vc; Brunnur Ventures and 1/0 Capital. Grid was founded in 2018 by CEO Hjálmar Gíslason with the aim to make it easy to turn spreadsheets into modern and easily manageable web applications.
