Nvidia launches Halos to put robots to work safely alongside humans

Nvidia launched Halos for Robotics as a full-stack safety system for robotics and physical AI. The platform extends safety architecture from autonomous vehicles into industrial robots that work around people and other machines. Nvidia also introduced supporting components such as IGX Thor, Holoscan Sensor Bridge, Halos OS, and the Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab to help partners validate safety and prepare certifications. Agility becomes the first partner to integrate Halos elements into its humanoid robot safety stack, and Nvidia has made Halos Core for IGX available in early access for registered developers.
