Summary
Since its formation, the organization has grown and evolved to be a leading provider of education and networking for the global Oracle users community. “Over the past 29 years, the OAUG users community has seen many changes, including Oracle’s acquisitions of numerous product families and the emergence of new solutions, such as engineered systems, big data, cloud computing, blockchain and the autonomous database,” said OATUG President Douglas Manning. The Hub debuts with four user-focused communities: Applications, BI & Analytics, DB & DevOps and one for attendees of COLLABORATE 19. The Hub is a key feature of a new website – just launched – that also includes The Knowledge Base, an extensive library of conference and webinar presentations on a wide range of application and technology topics. OATUG provides its members a wide range of activities and forums including conferences, online education, regional events, publications and special interest groups.
