Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration Renews Partnership with Esri to Modernize Maritime Location Data Infrastructure

REDLANDS, Calif.--( BUSINESS WIRE )-- Esri , the global leader in location intelligence, today announced that it has contracted with the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration (LTSA), Hydrography Division. LTSA will partner with Esri; local distributor Hnit-Baltic; and Quality Positioning Services (QPS), a Saab subsidiary, to implement a new seabed database and nautical cartography system. LTSA, already a current user of Esris ArcGIS platform, will use the companys technology to enhance the production of maritime information to meet International Hydrographic Organization and national standards. Esris technology will enable LTSA to serve the community not only through the preparation of maritime maps and charts but also to provide data in support of environmental, economic, and national security interests.
