Octopus Energy Partners With DTEK To Bring Solar & Battery Storage To Ukraine

Octopus Energy and DTEK have formed a joint venture called Project RISE to roll out rooftop solar and battery storage across Ukraine. The plan calls for €100 million in investment and up to 100 onsite projects for businesses and public-sector organizations over the next three years. Octopus will connect the installations to its Kraken battery management platform so customers can optimize usage, cut peak costs, and sell surplus power back to the grid. The partners are also negotiating with financial institutions to secure long-term financing for the rollout.
