CIM Terras de Trás-os-Montes launched a new digital tool that links rural property cadastre data with wildfire risk information. The platform helps municipal technicians identify critical land parcels, see the owners, and prioritize fuel-clearing and prevention work. It combines BUPi ownership data with territorial layers such as fuel-management strips, priority intervention areas, burned zones, and priority parishes. The tool is now being distributed to technicians across the nine municipalities in the CIM, where it will support daily operational and inspection work.
