ING has launched a new transaction security measure, namely sensitive transfers and a protection period

ING is rolling out a new transaction security feature called sensitive transfers. The bank will disable these transfers by default and require customers to activate them in online banking or the mobile app before use. ING is also adding a two-hour protection period after activation, during which it can apply extra checks or reject a transfer in justified cases. The change targets express and foreign-currency transfers and aims to reduce unauthorized transactions and cybercrime risk.
