The most personal customer debit cards are held by PKO BP, Pekao and Erste

▤ Summary

Polish and regional banks continued to grow their personal debit card portfolios in Q1 2026. Cashless.pl’s data shows nearly 37 million debit cards held by individual customers, up 0.6% quarter over quarter and 3.6% year over year. PKO BP stayed the largest issuer, while Pekao and Erste increased their card counts and mBank also remained above 4 million cards. Only PKO BP and BNP Paribas posted slight quarterly declines among the banks that updated their figures.
