MAIA activates new site for THIO-101 Phase II trial

MAIA Biotechnology activated a new U.S. site at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University for its Phase II THIO-101 expansion trial. The study is now enrolling patients and evaluates ateganosine as a third-line treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The trial focuses on safety, tolerability, and efficacy, with overall response rate as the primary endpoint. MAIA said earlier trial parts showed early efficacy, including some patients surviving more than two years, which supported the U.S. expansion.
