The system can adjust drive modes, suspension height, climate, frunk access, range data, and some tasks locally in the vehicle for faster responses and better privacy. Rivian says the assistant uses a unified intelligence layer and is moving beyond Alexa toward its own integrated software stack. A large part of the edge AI development happens in Belgrade through Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies, while cloud models are built in the U.S. The launch highlights both a major in-vehicle software release and the growing role of the Serbian engineering team in Rivian's AI platform.
