Egypt launches Startup Egypt platform to support startups

Egypt’s Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade has launched the Startup Egypt platform to connect startups with government entities, investors, and financing institutions. The ministry is also exploring a venture capital company with the Sovereign Fund of Egypt to unlock more liquidity for later-stage startup financing.
