Double Award Success for Liberty IT with Global Recognition for STEAM Studio

Liberty IT won two awards for its STEAM Studio education programme, including the Community Impact Award at the ERG Impact Awards and Best CSR Initiative at the Invest in Ireland Awards. The programme gives schoolchildren hands-on coding experience using MakeCode Arcade and museum collections as inspiration. Liberty IT launched STEAM Studio in 2024 with the Ulster Museum and later expanded it with Galway City Museum. More than 2,000 pupils have taken part so far, and the initiative focuses on accessibility, inclusion, and growing future tech talent.
