Fire Safety Education programme launched for primary, secondary schools

Cyprus has launched a Fire Safety Education programme for primary and secondary schools. The initiative brings together the Ministry of Education, the Cyprus Fire Service, the Cyprus Retired Firefighters Association and Bank of Cyprus’ SupportCY network. The programme will extend fire prevention and response training from educators to students through interactive lessons and hands-on activities. Organizers want to build prevention awareness, responsibility and preparedness among young people while supporting school community resilience.
