Accenture Expands Healthcare And Factory Tech Push Ahead Of Earnings

Accenture agreed to acquire IndX and Alfahealth to expand two strategic practices ahead of earnings. IndX will strengthen Accenture’s Siemens business and deepen its manufacturing software, digital twin, PLM, simulation, SCADA, edge, and cloud capabilities. Alfahealth will expand the company’s healthcare practice in Italy with a digital health platform for clinical workflows, connected care data, patient access, and operations. The deal also adds scale through more than 1,200 Alfahealth professionals and sets up new Centers of Excellence in Italy and India. The transactions still need customary closing conditions before completion.
