REGENT completed the world’s first seaglider manufacturing facility in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The 255,000-square-foot site will serve as the company’s global production hub for the all-electric Viceroy seaglider and the hybrid Squire seaglider drone. The facility supports a commercial order book valued at more than $10 billion and also backs defense contracts, including work with the U.S. Marine Corps. REGENT says the plant will create 300 jobs, with potential growth to 750 positions over the next decade.
