Edgewise reports positive top-line results from Phase II CIRRUS-HCM trial

Edgewise Therapeutics reported positive top-line results from the 12-week Part D of its Phase II CIRRUS-HCM trial for EDG-7500 in obstructive and non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The data showed meaningful improvements across hemodynamic, biomarker, and patient-reported measures, while systolic function stayed preserved. The company also said the treatment was generally well tolerated, with no notable drop in LVEF and only a small number of atrial fibrillation cases. Edgewise expects to start a Phase III program in the fourth quarter of 2026 based on these results.
