Soliton Systems signs memorandum of understanding with UNDP to promote remote construction for Ukraine’s reconstruction

Soliton Systems has signed an MOU with UNDP to promote and implement remote construction technology for Ukraine’s reconstruction. The company plans to work with UNDP and local stakeholders to deploy remote operation capabilities for construction equipment in hazardous recovery sites. The release highlights prior field testing in Kyiv, where the system successfully controlled machinery from about 25 kilometers away using bundled LTE connections. Soliton says its Zao video transmission system can enable remote operation without major modifications to existing machines, and it will now expand demonstrations and adoption efforts in Ukraine.
