MAIA Labs has received CE certification for ColoMAIA II, its AI-powered colonoscopy assistant, under the EU Medical Device Regulation. The company says a multicenter trial with 600 patients showed a 61% relative increase in adenomas detected per colonoscopy versus standard procedures. The system is already in more than twenty European hospitals and connects to existing endoscopy towers without hardware replacement or workflow disruption. MAIA Labs is now expanding commercially, looking for distribution partners in new markets, and continuing toward FDA certification.
