Thumbay breaks ground on landmark Research Centre to advance the future of medicine

Thumbay Group has begun construction on a new International Research Centre in Ajman to support medical research, diagnostics, and clinical care in one facility. The six-storey centre will include start-up labs, an incubation area, AR/VR capabilities, wet labs, genomics, bioinformatics, and preclinical research space. The project is designed to help researchers and clinicians collaborate more closely and to advance programs in oncology, precision medicine, and other medical research areas. The initiative also strengthens Gulf Medical University’s research ambitions and creates a stronger infrastructure base for future innovation work.
