Synology DSM 7.4-90075 released: what’s inside

▤ Summary

Synology has released DSM 7.4-90075 and the update installs with a mandatory reboot. Older FS, XS, Plus, Value, and J-series models do not receive automatic notification and require manual installation through the Download Center. The release adds new package updates, removes support for PHP 8.1, Mail Station, and Synology Mail Server, and introduces GPU information in the Info Center. It also fixes SSO, login-loop, file-locking, IPv6, and package-center issues while closing security vulnerabilities such as one in Ghostscript. Synology confirms that devices compatible with DSM 7.3 will generally receive DSM 7.4, with the DS216se as the only listed exception.
