Manulife Named #1 Life Insurer for AI Maturity for Second Consecutive Year by Evident

Manulife received the number one ranking for AI maturity among life insurers in the 2026 Evident AI Index for Insurance for the second year in a row. The company also placed first in Canada, first in the AI Leadership category, and third overall across the insurers assessed. Manulife says it is scaling AI across underwriting, quoting, wealth management, and customer service to improve speed, efficiency, and customer outcomes. The company expects its AI program to create more than $1 billion in enterprise value by 2027, with $300 million already achieved by the end of 2025.
